Pay Rate: $97/hr – $115/hr
COMP is in need of qualified and dedicated licensed Physicians (MD or DO) preferably with relevant work experience in an Emergency Room (ER) or a workers comp environment. Knowledge in the procedures, regulations, codes and other pertinent areas covering Workers Comp is a distinct advantage.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise medical staff to ensure that all patients are properly documented, tested, and promptly and systematically diagnosed to optimize resources and minimize lag time for patients and staff.
- Oversee the appropriate utilization of employee health services and resources insofar as they relate to Workers Comp.
- Evaluate, identify and recommend measures for preventive care and screening of employer groups to reduce the risk of work related injuries.
- Provide counseling for employees on health-related or immunization concerns.
- Assist with investigations to identify the root cause of incidents and near misses, and recommend appropriate action to prevent future injuries and improve worker performance at the workplace.
- Provide guidance on the treatment and follow-up care of patients.
- Oversee and manage the required physical evaluation programs to meet regulatory requirements; such as OSHA and CDC.
Requirements:
- Must be a fully licensed and a registered medical practitioner with the proper CA State Licensure (no restrictions).
- MUST be DOT-certified and/or assure that they are certified within 30 days of hire.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to accurately provide verbal/written feedback.
- Must exercise exceptional managerial and organizational skills with the ability to delegate tasks as necessary and to support staff and assistants.
- Must possess a disciplined work ethic and have exceptional task prioritization.

Pay Rate: $55/hr – $70/hr
Physician Assistants (preferably certified), graduated from an accredited program. Must be able to perform certain physician’s duties including history taking, physical examination, diagnostic tests, and treatment. All under the responsible supervision of a licensed physician.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform basic medical duties such as history taking, patient evaluation, all other routine medical procedures and minor surgical procedures, diagnosis, and recommended treatment. All under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Physician.
- Collaborate with Clinical Staff to ensure patient is attended to and diagnosed with proper recommendations of employer on patient required medical care.
- Provide counseling for employees on health-related or immunization concerns.
- Manage measures for preventive care and screening of employer groups to reduce the risk of work related injuries and reduce injury incidence.
- Assist with investigations to identify the root cause of incidents/injuries and recommend appropriate actions to improve safety and performance in the work place.

Requirements:
- MUST have Proper CA State Licensure with NO restrictions.

Must be a graduate of a physical therapy program duly accredited and recognized nationally. Must be a team player and be able to work in an ever-evolving environment. California Licensing Required.
COMP is actively seeking licensed Physical Therapists who have relevant work experience preferably in a workers comp environment. The Physical Therapist will be primarily responsible for completing the required patient documentation, including an initial evaluation, recommended treatment regimen, daily progress notes, physician progress notes, home exercise programs, and billing information.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively performs an evaluation of the patient, including ROM, strength, sensation and functional status, including gait.
- Identifies problems and recommends appropriate treatment regimen. Sets realistic goals that are discussed with the patient.
- Must possess good working knowledge of modalities, exercise programs and other treatment regimens and must be thoroughly familiar with indications and contraindications.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to accurately provide verbal/written feedback regarding observed patient performance.
- Capable of working with a wide variety of patients (orthopedic, neurological, medical) of different ages and be able to delegate tasks as necessary to support staff in an appropriate manner.
- Must possess a disciplined work ethic and be good at both prioritizing tasks and in time management.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an APTA Accredited Physical Therapy program. Duly accredited and recognized nationally.
- Work experience of at least 2 years in a relevant environment, preferably in handling workers’ injuries and rehabilitation.
- Valid CA Physical Therapy license.
- Current CPR /AED (BLS) certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to reason and carry out instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to work with a team and be able to delegate tasks as necessary.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Must be fully qualified and licensed to operate radio-logical equipment (including digital).
COMP Management Inc. is in need of duly qualified, licensed Medical X-ray Technicians who have relevant experience preferably in an emergency room or workers comp environment, mainly dealing with work-related injuries, such as fractures, dislocations, etc. The candidate must be able to fully operate X-ray equipment (including digital), films, lead shields, etc. and must be able to properly follow the instructions of the supervising physician or medical personnel.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain their full cooperation.
- Determine patients’ x-ray needs by reading requests or instructions from physicians.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians’ instructions to patients.
- Prepare and set up x-ray room for patient.
- Position x-ray equipment and adjust controls to properly set exposure factors, such as time and KVP.
- Position patient on examining table and set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician.
- Assure that supplies such as lead shields, calipers, films, positioning sponges, requisition materials, or other required equipment are present and in working order.
- Process exposed radiographs using film processors or computer generated methods.
- Make exposures necessary for the requested procedures, rejecting, and repeating work that does not meet established standards.
Requirements:
- MUST be a Certified Limited X-Ray Technician 1 year minimum.
- Relevant work experience in a clinic or hospital is a must.
- Must be fully competent in the task of preparing and taking X-rays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to empathize with the patient.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Able to work with a team and to delegate tasks as necessary.
- Should be certified as a medical assistant from an accredited program.
- CPR Certified.
